After a good rinse, we begin our decontamination bath. This is a chemical bath with a few different objectives in mind. We use an iron fallout remover to lift impurities from the clear coat. We also pretreat a few other areas of the vehicle.
Next, is a super soapy foam cannon bath and hand wash to get the vehicle clean. We also complete a thorough wash and rinse on the wheel well area. Once we get the vehicle clean we refoam the vehicle and go through a clay treatment on the paint to pick up any stubborn leftovers.
After a thorough inspection of the paint, we tape off all surfaces that might be damaged from the buffer and move into paint corrections. This step is where the clear coat is purified and refinished. This creates a smooth flat surface for coating.
After corrections, we go through another thorough inspection with proper lighting to make sure we have the paint suitable for coating.We dust out the cracks and in some cases we even rewash the vehicle. Then, we prep wipe with a solvent designed to remove any left over polish or compound and prepare the surface for coating
